We have been involved in the Premium Partnership scheme for nearly four years now and what a fantastic idea it is. It is amazing that every secondary school is not attempting to do the same and develop ongoing relationships with businesses in their local area.
As a business we have established a strong partnership with the school, increased our own brand awareness, gained exposure to other partners and affiliates and attended all of the wonderful networking events where we have developed fantastic contacts ourselves.
We were commissioned to build new websites for schools within the Partnership and we have also had the opportunity to speak to sixth form students to give them support and an insight into Internet marketing. Something that interests many young people as they are growing up with the Internet at the forefront of their lives.
Jack Kinnerly, Marketing Executive, Business Sorted
"To meet so many bright, articulate and enthusiastic youngsters has very much made me want to work more with the school. "
Anne Holloway, Innovecom
"It has restored my faith in young people!"
Lisa Greenfield, ITEC
"A great many schools are strong at engaging with employers and promoting entrepreneurship but the Premium Partners scheme is still way ahead in terms of the number and range of businesses involved and their level of engagement."
Elliott Furneauz, Leading Edge
Renishaw plc has been a Premium Partner since the start of the scheme. It is a great opportunity for businesses large and small to work together within the school and wider community.
For ourselves, it is increasingly important that we encourage young people to study STEM subjects that will give them the qualifications that they will require for an interesting and rewarding career in engineering. Some of the many benefits of Renishaw plc working closely with Castle School are:-
1. Guaranteed Work Experience Placements
2. Visits by students and teachers to Renishaw plc which are tailor made to fit in with the curriculum
3. Our engineers visit the school to support Engineering Clubs/Projects
4. STEM Prize given to the school to spend on prizes to encourage STEM subjects
Simonne Watts, Human Resources, Renishaw
The Premium Partners scheme is a shining example of cutting edge practice in partnership work between schools and their local business community. It has developed an inspiring model of business engagement that directly impacts individual young people, improving their employability skills while supporting the local economy. It is a positive, inspiring vision of the future for school and business engagement.

Business in the Community
I have had the pleasure to work with the Premium Partners scheme over the last 6 months.
It is a great scheme and their biggest strength lies with their Business Partners - over 50
Every quarter they invite their business partners and guests to their quarterly events held at Old Down Manor.
The scheme works tirelessly to engage local businesses and I consider it role model in how businesses and schools can work together.

Safety Test (UK) Ltd
Safety Test UK Ltd, an industry leader in Electrical Inspection and Testing Services, has enjoyed working with Premium Partners in recent years. As a proud member of the Premium Partnership Scheme, we have been able to forge close, long lasting relationships with schools, its staff, students and other local businesses and organisations.
RIO - Real Ideas Organisation
As an Educational Social Enterprise, the Real Ideas Organisation (RIO) has been impressed by the Premium Partnership Scheme ever since it was conceived in 2011. The innovative nature of the partnership scheme has generated substantial benefits for schools and their young people.
We work extensively with Schools across the UK and seldom do we encounter such successful, established and in demand schemes. We often refer to the Premium Partnership Scheme as an example of what is possible for schools who are interested in harnessing the value, support and energy of their local business community.
RIO enjoys working with schools who embrace the changing educational landscape and we see the Premium Partnership Scheme as a forward thinking approach to tackling many of the current challenges schools can face. We believe that all schools can benefit greatly from finding ways to build strong, ethical, school enhancing links with their local business community.
Nick Clitheroe, Development Manager
